                         THOMAS B. TROTTER, SR., ARCHITECT

Mr. Trotter is a native of the Sevier County area in East Tennessee.  He is licensed in
the states of Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.  The National
Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) also certifies him.  He is also a
member of The American Institute of Architects.  The firm, Trotter and Associates,
Architect, was established in 1985 and has enjoyed continued success for twenty-
four years.

Under the supervision of the late Mr. Hubert Bebb, Architect, who established
Community Tectonics in Gatlinburg in the 1960’s, Mr. Trotter learned a respect for
design excellence and fine craftsmanship in construction.  Mr. Trotter’s designs
reflect his appreciation of the Appalachian environment and culture by using
structural details and finishes to compliment nature.  This is illustrated by his
frequent use of structural, exposed beams, unique millwork and extensive
stonework.  These characteristics have given Mr. Trotter’s projects a distinct
quality, which potential clients recognize and value.
